When undocumented, or mixed-status, students reach out for help, will you know how to guide them? If you’ve ever wondered what to say, this training is for you.

California law protects undocumented students. It also calls on public schools to support their academic, professional, and technical development. That means all of us: Teachers, Staff, Administrators.

  • Learn the legal rights of undocumented students under AB 540, AB 130/131 and beyond
  • Identify key community and campus-based resources
  • Practice how to respond when students share their status (or when they don’t)

SRJC Undocu • Immigrant • Dream Center invites you to join these virtual professional development series designed for those who work with undocumented students.  Please share with school staff, counselors, and students.

Guiding undocumented students isn’t simple. It takes care. It takes clarity. And it matters, because every student, no matter their status, deserves a strong foundation for the future.  For undocumented students, the path through college is shaped by barriers most never see. These barriers show up in the questions students are afraid to ask, the forms leave blank, the doors they never try to open. This workshop changes that!

SRJC Undocu • Immigrant • Dream Center invites you to join these virtual professional development series designed for those who work with undocumented students.  Please share with school staff, counselors, and students.
